To John's family: deep sympathies for your loss. John was incredibly smart, kind and helpful to everyone. We are stunned and saddened by his all-too-soon passing. John loved Carolina baseball. Right now, he's probably watching a heavenly game, from a baseline fence, just enjoying the game. We hope these good memories will be of comfort to you, in the coming days, and help reduce the inevitable sadness.
