To JL's family I give you my deepest sympathies for your loss. What a wonderful and loving man you brought into this world! I first met JL at a meeting at Rheumatology on the Beach. He was such a kind and caring friend. He gave me a ride to the airport so I would not have to take a taxi. That was just the kind of person JL was making sure everyone was taken care of. We had lunch together that day at the beach and talked about ball. He baseball and me softball. It never failed, JL was always the first person I saw at a meeting and he always greeted me with a big smile and a hug. I will miss that big smile of his and his hugs but I will never forget him.
